With objectiF, you can create a large amount of source code from your domain-oriented models via model transformations – even entire layers, depending on the platform. You can implement the missing application logic details afterwards; it’s easy in Round Trip with Visual Studio or Eclipse. objectiF is seamlessly integrated with both tools, just for this:
You can branch directly to the required position in the Visual Studio or Eclipse code editor from every element in a class or package diagram, in the system view or in your favorites list. At the same time, the code is synchronized with the models in objectiF.
The code generated by the model transformation is protected from changes during Round Trip Engineering.
What if the domain-oriented layer changes, perhaps because the domain-oriented model is changed or extended? Then simply re-transform the domain-oriented model. All manual extensions you’ve entered in the technical model with objectiF and in the code with Visual Studio or Eclipse, will remain intact.
