Limitations of the Personal Edition

The file format of the Personal Edition is not the same as the file format of the product version. That means it is not possible to edit a system created by the Personal Edition with the product version and vice versa. But it is possible to convert a system created with the Personal Edition into the format of the product version. Also, you can enter only a limited amount of data in this Personal Edition.

The following commands are not supported in the Personal Edition:

• System/Export
• Add-Ins/Review-Manager: Running Operations

Additionally, neither multi-user operation nor version restoration or configuration is possible in the Personal Edition.

The total number of diagrams and other elements which can be created in the Personal Edition is also limited. Whereas the full version of case/4/0 does not limit the number of elements which can be created, the Personal Edition does set some limits, which vary according to element type. If you reach such a limit, case/4/0 will show you a message box.
