The in-Step Personal editions are almost identical to the corresponding product versions. The central difference is of a technical nature:

You can use the in-Step Personal Personal Editions for free for an unlimited time. When you first start the software - after installing it - it is activated. To perform this one-time task, you will need a working Internet connection.

All members of the in-Step product family come with objectiF inside for graphical requirements management: CoreProcess Edition, Scrum Edition, V-Modell XT Edition, SPICE Edition for Automotive, actiF Edition and PRINCE2 Edition.

Please note: Due to technical reasons in-Step Personal Edition and objectiF Trial Edition can not operate side by side. Though you can still work with Personal Editions from in-Step and objectiF on one workstation.
Unlike the full version, in-Step SPICE Personal Edition for Automotive does not include templates for all the products defined by the SPICE compliant process.
