Knowledge Transfer – Exchange – Competence
Business analysts are constantly on the lookout for opportunities, problems and solutions within the company. Their main objective is making constant improvements. They ask questions in order to assess the need. Their communication is aimed at getting everyone on board. And they pursue strategies for identifying the right requirements for the purposes of developing good solutions. Business analysts need unified principles, well-founded knowledge and core competencies to carry out these tasks.
The International Institute of Business Analysis, in association with microTOOL, is pleased to invite you to the Knowledge Transfer on September 29, 2016. Rainer Wendt, president of the German Chapter of the IIBA, will be speaking about the most important aspects of communication in business analysis. Ursula Meseberg, CEO of microTOOL GmbH will discuss how business analysis is done in agile projects. And Enrico Fritz, lead consultant at microTOOL will report on the challenges involved in developing systems. He also explains how to deal with stakeholders and their goals, as well as with architectures and requirements.

Competencies creating the right results
Basic cognitive, communicative and decision-making skills are necessary to be a good business analyst. Business analysts also need knowledge to be able to fulfill their tasks in a project or organization.
But how what does a business analyst actually do? How does he plan and monitor his business analysis? How does he gather information and forge cooperation with stakeholders who may or may not be available. How does he elicit requirements and manage changes? And how does he evaluate different solutions?
Get answers to your real questions. Learn about the knowledge areas in business analysis and discuss the factors that are essential for your project work. You will quickly realize that business is no paint-by-numbers-affair. Business analysis is a collection of instruments used at just the right time for a very specific purpose.
