Digital inspiration at the 27th microTOOL conference in Berlin

“Fit for the digital future. Knowledge. Tools. Experience.” is the motto of the 27th microTOOL conference on the 24th and 25th of April 2018 in the Hotel InterContinental in Berlin. The software manufacturer microTOOL invites experts, customers and potential customers to get to know and discuss solutions and methods of digital transformations. Additionally, the new tool features of objectiF RM, software for requirements engineering, objectiF RPM, software for requirements life cycle management and in-STEP BLUE, software for process-based project management will be presented. Users from, DILAX Intelcom, Flex Automotive, QUNDIS, Kapsch CarrierCom, VOITH Turbo and valantic will offer insights into their projects. On the black market, the themes of scarce resources, stress-free communication, certification, requirements specification and change in the age of software usability will be discussed. There will be an exciting program for the approximately eighty participants.

Ursula Meseberg, managing director of microTOOL, will explain how the high management complexity of digital transformation projects can be kept under control with business analysis artifact types and objectiF RPM. The same tool will soon offer extensions for DevOps and IoT, which will also be introduced. Enrico Fritz, manager of sales and consultation at microTOOL GmbH, will provide an overview of their planned product development and new premium support. Maintenance customers in attendance will have the chance to win a yearlong package of this new service offer.

Eight lecturers from different industries will report on how they manage their projects with solutions from microTOOL. Dr. Peter Samulat from the Institute for Digital Transformation will explain how the industrial internet of things makes products into services. The black market presenters Stephanie Selmer, Rudolf Siebenhofer, Susanne Lorenz, Michael Schäfer, Axel Velarde and Olaf Hinz will discuss different themes interactively in small groups and then develop solution concepts with the participants.
