The first BA Camp takes place from May 9-10, 2014 in Vienna. This “Unkonferenz” (“no-conference”) represents a new way of exchanging knowledge and is supported by microTOOL. The goal is to facilitate an open and exciting exchange of knowledge for all participants interested in current strategies, trends and development in Business Analysis.
A growing number of companies are beginning to value targeted business analysis and are using it to perform successfully on the market. Business Analysis focuses on business processes and company structures and strives to improve the core competences of a company. The business analyst examines, understands, advises and documents and is also a connector between project management and requirements management. At the BA Camp, special attention will be paid to opportunities and strategies in Business Analysis.
A main feature of the BA Camp is openness. It is aimed at business analysts and all interested persons. The participants themselves decide on the topics and the course of action during the event. The idea is to provide a forum for interactive exchange of knowledge, business contacts, developments and trends. Participants get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere and strengthen contacts in personal talks.
Ursula Meseberg is Managing Director at microTOOL. The Berlin-based company supports the event as sponsor. “We believe in requirements engineering. And we believe in agile product development. And also in processes. We are very pleased to support BA Camp and their sympathetic organizers and we are looking forward to a great number of discussions about chances and challenges.”
