microTOOL GmbH takes part in the eleventh conference on Requirements Engineering (REConf) from 16 to 18 March in Unterschleissheim near Munich. The biggest conference of German speaking countries dealing with requirements management offers a rich agenda of talks, an exhibition and an opening day with workshops. Ursula Meseberg, principal of microTOOL GmbH, reports Best Practices, themed “Agile for Mobile”, for agile developed requirements of mobile business applications on March 17th, 12.25pm.
Her talk shows the particular challenges of requirements engineering in mobile application development. Short release cycles, various operating systems and vague ideas of actual stakeholder goals exacerbate classical methods of dealing with requirements. She suggests the introduction of prototype user models, so called Personas, modeling use cases according to Use Case 2.0 and agile development with Scrum.
Other highlights on the agenda include keynotes by Dr. Ralph Young, Ellen Gottesdiener, Niels Pfläging and Udo Wiegärtner. Several hundred participants and 38 partners meet at Hotel Dolce to exchange methods of professional Requirements Engineering. Consultants, software providers, media partners and certification providers offer solutions in the accompanying exhibition. microTOOL will be premium exhibitor and present its products: in-STEP RED, in-STEP BLUE and objectiF RM.
