microTOOL GmbH is once again a premium exhibitor at the largest Europe-wide conference for requirements management, REConf (Requirements Engineering Conference) from the fifth to the seventh of March in Munich. For the seventeenth time, experts from the requirements engineering community will meet to talk about trends, methods and techniques of requirements engineering in the age of digitization. In the exhibition, microTOOL will present software for dealing with complex management tasks that also involve Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT). Ursula Meseberg, managing director of microTOOL, will give a lecture in which she will explain how to keep change projects under control with agile business analysis.
The lecture will introduce the artifact types of agile business analysis and look at their many relationships. The artifact types cover the entire value chain through need – solution – value. They make it easier to handle complexity and support agile procedures. The artifact model is the common map for change teams on the path to a digital transformation. It provides a map to show everyone where they find themselves in the difficult terrain of the change project and how to react to changes effectively.
Keynotes at the conference will be held by Prof. Dr. h.c. Manfred Broy, founding president of the Center for Digitization, Bavaria, Alexander Huber, climber and author, and Dr. Thorsten Weyer, leader of the research group “Requirements engineering and conception design” at the Ruhr Institute for Software Technology (paluno) in Essen. With about forty other lectures, fourteen workshops and interactive formats like world cafes and open spaces, this event at the H4 hotel at the Munich Fairgrounds is one of the most important industry events of the year.
